This is a typical sweet from Argentina. You can eat it alone, use it to fill cakes, or utility more than bananas, ice-cream or any extra dessert!

The ingredient of Dulce de Leche

  1. 1 gallon milk
  2. 1 vanilla bean
  3. 4u2009u00bd cups white sugar
  4. 1 teaspoon baking soda

The instruction how to make Dulce de Leche

  1. In a large saucepan, bring milk to a boil on top of higher than medium-high heat. sever from heat and strain through cheesecloth. Return to pan.
  2. Cut vanilla bean in half and pour the seeds in the milk. advocate in the sugar and replace the pan nearly medium-high heat, stirring forever until the sugar is dissolved. Just as the milk fusion begins to boil, work up in the baking soda. cut the heat to medium, stirring each time until fusion thickens. following a wooden spoon drawn through the mix leaves the bottom of the pan visible, and the mixture is spacious brown in color, remove the pan from the heat.
  3. Place the pan in an ice bath and mix up each time until dulce de leche is cold. increase in airtight container in refrigerator. Pour into sterile jars, and store in the refrigerator.
